D'Amore's Pizza Connection on Westwood (map)
This is a topic I wrote and we discussed over 3 years ago and which I think is as relevant if not more so today as it was then. I hope you will join us in revisiting this classic topic:
So I got a call today from someone I had not talked to in sometime. The conversation started out with a question, "Hey do you remember me?". Now in point of fact I did remember this person very well. Ultimately this contact was hoping I could help them out with something that was relatively easy for me to do but was of specific value.
This got me to thinking, what is the value of any ones network? Have you taken the time to cultivate relationships with people who understand the value of networking?
Do you provide value to your network? To the extent that you can assist others in your network or even friends of friends in your network do you?
What makes a valuable networking contact, is it what they can do for you or is it that they will reciprocate in kind for whatever favor you can do for them?
In a world where we all are trying to get ahead through our individual endeavors those with deep and valuable networks clearly have the advantage.
So what are you doing to further the value you provide to your network?
Join us as we explore the topic of networking and how to get the most out of your networking efforts.
As always, there is no better way to meet and connect with other executives then over dinner and conversation. $21 in advance via PayPal or $25 at the event gets you a full dinner, drink and the best networking around.
I to am sorry to miss one. Looking forward to making next Tuesday's Meetup.
