If you have joined us for dinner in Westwood you have probably heard me say that the topics I create each week are thinly vailed excuses to get people to show up share dinner and conversation on an interesting topic.
The real goal is for those who join us to get to know each other better.
This week in a rare change, the topic is really about you and more specifically what have we not learned or do not know about who you are? We are what people choose to see about us and what we put out there as our public face but ExecTec has never been about swapping business cards or even for that matter about short term connections.
So what could you tell someone about yourself that would allow them to know more about who you truly are?
While you may be a C-something or VP of this, Director of that or a blank in transition, but what do we not know about you?
I have met countless amazing executives over the years and by getting to know some of these executives better I have learned that among us there are a couple of you who race sail boats regularly, at least one secret blogger, a professional photographer, an internet DJ, two of us who geocache and so much more.
Some come join us as we explore the little know sides of ourselves and what we find interesting and fun. Who knows you might find out you have more in common with someone then just being and member of ExecTec.
If nothing else, there is no better way to meet and connect with other executives then over dinner and conversation. $21 in advance via PayPal or $25 at the event gets you a full dinner, drink and the best networking around.
